TP Human Capital are seeking a detail orientated IT Analyst to support a rollout project with one of our global mining clients. Based in Townsville and at our client's mine asset, the project is now in its second phase and requires an additional technical resource. The basic aim of this project is to transition users from Windows XP to Windows 7, as well as a rationalisation in the applications used by our client.
Necessary Skill Set:
- Technically smart with applications packaging, validating source and troubleshooting application installation.
- Knowledge of Database concepts (database connectivity with applications, client server architecture etc.), SQL query, data warehousing etc.
- Knowledge of SCCM (System Centre Configuration Manager) and reporting – running reports with SQL queries in background and deep knowledge of MS Excel and macros.
- Knowledge of application source gathering (analysing if the source is complete, how to validate licences, etc.)
- Knowledge of installing sequenced / packaged applications into an UAT (User Acceptance Testing) environment, and conduct pre UAT activities.
- You will be responsible for completing some necessary inductions, as well as have the ability to pass a pre-employment medical
The successful applicant will be based in Townsville, with some rosters to be worked on the actual mine site. All flights, accommodation and meals on site will be provided.
