An opportunity now exists for an experienced Underwriter to join our successful Australian Intermediaries team in Adelaide and support our business growth.
You will be responsible for handling new business quotations, renewals and policy maintenance while providing advice and technical support. You will be an expert relationship builder and problem solver, working closely with our Intermediaries.
For ultimate success in this role you will need to have had at least 5 years commercial underwriting experience and be an astute individual who is an open thinker and is able to develop networks and relationships both internally and externally. The successful candidate will also bring with them to the role initiative, drive, a commitment to excellence in client service and an ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines. Ideally you will have completed or be currently studying for your Certificate IV in Insurance.
