As EnergyAustralia's Production Technician (Level 1) is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of the gas plant, in accordance with asset management principles, ensuring environmental, statutory, production and commercial performance targets are met in a substantially self managed and multi skilled work environment.
This role provides an opportunity to be involved in ensuring a strong focus on improved plant performance and reliability in regards to daily production activities. The scope of the role is detailed, but not limited to the activities listed below -- Contribute to the improvement and development of the production activities and personnel resources of the Iona gas plant
- Ensure cost effective and efficient operation of the gas plant to meet production requirements and demand obligations
- Assist with the delivery of the EnergyAustralia Gas Assets business plan objectives
- Continued development of operations experience within the Shift team
- Communicate accurate and timely information as required on critical aspects of plant performance
- Lead by example, model & develop effective behaviour at all times
Key Accountabilities/Objectives
HSE Accountabilities
1. Maintain safety, health and environmental performance
2. Understands Operations Plan and Integrated Management System
3. Achieve required competency levels through training and development
Operations Accountabilities
1. Operate, monitor and maintain the facility including associated utility installations and the North Paaratte Metering Station (encompassing NP, WC 7 Grumby fields
2. Control and understanding of outside production duties
3. Priorities and deliver daily work activities to maintain the facility
This is a permanent position based at Iona Gas Plant.
