Part time (22.8 hours/ week)
The position… oversees Council's collection of artworks and artefacts, in both the cataloguing, accession and storing of items as well as the ongoing coordination of displays and exhibitions around Council buildings, including City Gallery and Town Hall. Requiring the creative flair of an experienced coordinator, this role is hands-on and is ideally suited to someone with a high level of proficiency in database and image management as well as display technology.
You will have…
- Extensive experience as a Collection Coordinator.
- Experience with the display of collection artworks and artefacts in a range of display settings
- Excellent computer literacy across a wide range of packages
- Excellent organisational skills
- Proven highly developed interpersonal skills
- A good level of verbal and written communication skills, particularly the ability to draft correspondence and reports.
