About the role
This role is within our Storage and Logistics division and an integral component Finance function of the group. Reporting to the General Manager Finance, Storage & Logistics and working closely with the business operating areas; you will have responsibility for end-to-end accounting procedure, financial reporting and controlling.
The fundamental objective of the role is to strengthen the business through the provision of key financial information to the business leaders. Key outcomes for the role include:
- Provide timely and effective P&L analysis or results and forecasting
- Financial accounting is primary objective as well as administration functions to ensure data integrity and sound internal controls •Developing successful business relationships with all levels of the business
- Lead and develop a team by investing in individual career development
About you
We are seeking a qualified finance professional (CPA/CA) who can demonstrate ownership and initiatives, and a passion for excellence. You will be commercially astute and be adaptable to the changing needs of the organisation. Your outstanding interpersonal and communication skills will enable you to network and influence senior management whilst leading in a collaborative team environment. Hands on financial accounting experience coupled with strong financial systems and control skills will see you flourish in this role. If you have a thirst for operational excellence and a hunger to continually develop your skills, then this is the role for you.
