
This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time 12 month appointments.
We currently have up to 5 positions available in the finance / business stream.

Eligibility to Apply: Applicants must have graduated in 2011 or plan to graduate in 2012 from a recognised university. Applicants must also be Australian Permanent Residents. Other Conditions: Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/05/2013.

Finance and Business Units within WA Health are seeking to recruit a pool of talented Finance and Business Analyst Graduates, with an interest in finance, accounting, legislative compliance, and business systems and improvement, to the Graduate Development Program. This role is suited to graduates with academic backgrounds including accounting, business, commerce, economics, finance, human resource management, law and/or marketing.
The Graduate Development Program's finance / business stream involves a comprehensive learning and development strategy and a broad range of work experience that seeks to develop and diversify the skills and knowledge of the participants. It also offers you hands-on experience in a variety of finance, business and corporate areas across the Department. In this stream, you will be offered the additional opportunity to undertake up to three fully-funded units over the 12-month Program towards attaining the Certified Practising Accountant (Australia) professional qualification.
In this role you will provide support to designated work areas to develop, implement, deliver, maintain and evaluate WA Health's finance and business policies, systems, and governance requirements.
Furthermore, subject to successful performance outcomes, permanent positions may be offered at the end of the Program, should these positions be available. This could be the opportunity to give your career a flying start!
