In this role you will be responsible for supervising the civil and structural engineering aspects of surface facilities concept development - encompassing gas and water gathering systems, gas compression, gas treatment, water management and power supply - for the Surat and Bowen upstream coal seam gas resources as part of the Arrow LNG project.
You will also have the opportunity to:
- Provide leadership to engineering consultants and/or Arrow staff to ensure timely delivery of upstream facilities concept solutions whilst ensuring expert input from the relevant disciplines and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships within Arrow with representatives of all aspects of the business to ensure their interests are appropriately translated into civil and structural engineering concepts whilst acquiring a full understanding of constraints and whilst challenging established paradigms.
- Contribute to the development of key upstream facilities concept select deliverables such as the upstream facilities concept select report and basis for design.
- Following concept selection, provide discipline leadership during FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, start-up and handover.
Formal Qualifications required for the role are:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil and/or Structural Engineering (BSc Eng)
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Several years experience in a resource development environment, particularly experience in large scale projects
- Structured decision-making processes, including decision quality analysis and decision-making under risk
- Surface facilities concept selection studies
