As we continue to grow our Award Winning Financial Planning business across Australia, we are seeking applications from experienced Financial Advisers looking for a change.
As a Commonwealth Financial Planning Adviser you will be part of team with a long-standing reputation for training and developing high-quality financial planners. Your role accountabilities:
- Assisting clients to identify and meet their financial goals by conducting review meetings and recommending appropriate strategies, products and service options.
- Using financial planning tools and technology to provide on-going quality and compliant advice and documentation.
- Liaising with the Branch network to provide training and identify opportunities for attracting new business.
- Providing outstanding client service by building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients and key stakeholders.
- Identifying any needs for an external specialist and providing the appropriate referrals
We are looking for candidates with the following attributes, skills and experience:
- Previous success in a Financial Planning related role.
- A demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding service and holistic advice to clients.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven success at generating successful business outcomes.
- A passion for building and developing a Financial Planning career including a demonstrated commitment to your ongoing personal and professional development.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Diploma of Financial Services 1 - 4 as a minimum requirement)
- Strong Financial Planning business acumen and a demonstrated understanding of factors currently affecting the financial services industry.
- A current and unrestricted driver's license.

Special Conditions apply - Employment will be within Commonwealth Financial Planning, a division of the Colonial First State, and will be subject to conditions of a Colonial Employment Agreement.
