We are seeking a suitably skilled individual to join our Training Directorate as a Lecturer of Children’s Services. As a Lecturer in this area, you will teach, facilitate learning, assess and mentor students in accordance with relevant curriculum and/or training package requirements.
Lecturers also undertake “Professional Activities” and “Activities Related to Delivery”.
In order to maintain quality educational services, Lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their vocational field through professional development. This is to provide up-to-date information and advice to the College and industry, where appropriate.

Work Benefits and Other Conditions
Our employees are covered by industrial agreements providing a significant range of employment benefits including:
- District Allowance $10,821 (single), $ 21,642 (double) per annum. *Subject to eligibility.
- Relocation Allowances. *Subject to eligibility.

- Country Incentives Allowance or Remote Area Allowance. *Subject to eligibility.
- Flexible Hours Arrangement (An additional 5% salary for working in a flexible hours arrangement)

- 4 weeks paid Parental Leave
- Up to 1 additional week of leave for undertaking Professional Development

- Annual Travel Concession covering the cost of airfares to the value of a return fully flexible airfare to Perth for the employee and dependants when proceeding on annual leave to a location outside the Kimberley region. *Subject to eligibility.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout our agency. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the initial date of the appointment.
Should no suitable applicant be identified, or an offer declined, the panel may search for further applicants beyond the closing date.
Eligibility for employment Kimberley Training Institute is subject to obtaining a satisfactory Department of Education Criminal Clearance. As this position will, or is likely to involve contact with children, the recommended occupant will also be required to obtain a Working with Children (WWC) Card.
