Chevron Australia is seeking an Agency Engagement Advisor to join the Gorgon Downstream team. This role will be responsible for assisting and administering the process of agency personnel engagement between Chevron and our external agency vendors, across both local and overseas locations.
Reporting to the Gorgon Downstream HR Business Resources Analyst this challenging and fast paced role will be responsible for providing advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders in relation to both the engagement and management of agency personnel. This is a full time, three year fixed term employment contract based in our Perth office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for managing the Gorgon downstream agency engagement recruitment requirements
- Support the downstream leadership team in developing job descriptions as well as completing required forms and short listing
- Act as the first point of contact to assist with requests for agency personnel and provide advice on the agency engagement process and procedures
- Work on recruitment strategies for Chevron employee positions in the downstream team
- Advise Supervisors on rates and reimbursable standards applicable for positions
- Monitor system notifications to confirm placements, compliance and other key requirements
- Monitor adherence to processes and procedures and develop monthly management reports
- Provide support to hiring managers across processes and projects and undertake maintenance of policies, procedures and process materials
- Support and work with other Chevron teams to ensure alignment across activities and processes
- Commitment to health, environment, safety and Chevron best practices
Key skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a HR environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and provide high level customer service to all stakeholders
- A committed self starter displaying a high level of initiative and negotiation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management skills and the ability to work in an environment which often requires tasks to be completed in challenging timeframes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse group of people
- Strong Microsoft Office suite skills
