Job Description

The Production Technician will be responsible for all operational duties, the safe operation and optimisation of all field assets and equipment on the Curtis Island LNG Facility near Gladstone

Ensure the safe operation and optimisation of all field assets and equipment at the Curtis Island LNG Facility in this complex role. You will coordinate and prepare equipment for maintenance and authorization of permits according to your role in Permit to Work procedures within a designated area.

Requirements

To be successful you should have significant experience in the operations of a LNG, gas processing, complex hydrocarbon facility, or similar experience gained on a ‘Major Hazardous Facility’.

Qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in ESI Generation, Boiler and Open Turbine Operators’ Certificates, electrical or mechanical trade background and confined space and working at heights accreditation would be highly regarded. Ideally, you’ll also have experience in at least one of the following environments: Complex Processing, Major Hazard Facilities, Shiploading, Central Control Room or Cryogenics.

This role is based on Curtis Island, relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.

Job Description
  • You will provide technical administration support to all Surat Warehouse and Supply Base teams. The incumbent will be responsible for the labor services capability plan.
  • Key accountabilities, Administrative Support to the Warehouse teams including but not limited to:
    • Supply Chain Training and capability plan – includes statutory and continuous improvement capability plans
    • Supply chain travel and accommodation bookings
    • Material invoice discrepancies
    • Repairs and returns service entries
    • Cycle counting
    • Administers the Supply Chain fixed assets register and QAQC certification document control
    • Safety Reporting and representative on the Upstream SC safety committee
Requirements
Core Skills :
  • System knowledge of SAP (SES, PRs), Concur and travel systems
  • Broad understanding the Supply Chain function
  • Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new computer applications e.g. Learning Management System, SharePoint
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management and priority management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multitask
  • Self-motivated
