The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for an experienced bilingual (Mandarin & English) Administrator to support the Processing team to provide high level administration support within the Concentrator and Dewatering areas. This is a great opportunity to work in a world class organisation, surrounded by some of the largest mining machinery in the world. This will be a permanent full time contract, site based on a 9/5 roster FIFO from Perth.

The Purpose of the Role

This role will require an Administrator who is highly organised and has a flexible approach to their work. Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Compliance with Duty of Care, CPM policies and procedures and statutory requirements
• Entering SAP notifications and confirmations
• Maintain area rosters and assist travel teams with flight and accommodation requests
• Supporting the department by providing general day to day administration tasks as required

The Requirements

We are looking for a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and 2-3 years' experience in similar administrative position. Highly advanced communication skills (both oral and written) and computer literacy are essential for this position. You will be a solution focused individual with strong problem solving skills. A high concern for the health and safety of yourself and others is crucial.

• Previous SAM WORKFLOW and SAP exposure are essential.
• Bilingual language capability (English and Mandarin) will be highly desirable for this position.
• A copy of all current qualifications / licences must be provided at the time of interview.
• A current manual WA Drivers licence is an essential requirement

Jobs in Perth (WA): HME Tool Storeman at Citic Pacific Mining

CITIC Pacific Mining is developing the Sino Iron Project, a world class, large-scale magnetite iron ore project located at Cape Preston, 100km south west of Karratha in Western Australia. The approximate $5 billion project has a current mine life of 25 years and is the largest magnetite project under construction in Australia, and the first to include large scale downstream processing.

The project involves construction of significant infrastructure including a magnetite concentrator, pellet plant, port facilities, a combined cycle power station, and a large desalination plant.

The Opportunity

CITIC Pacific Mining is currently looking for a HME Tool Storeman to assist with the running of our brand new tool store. This is a newly created permanent position on a 2/1 roster, FIFO from Perth.

The Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the HME Shift Supervisor, the Tool Storeman is responsible for assisting the Light Vehicle and Heavy Maintenance Equipment teams with their tooling needs.

This role involves, but is not limited to:

• Issuing tools and maintaining the tool store in an organised fashion

• Repair small tools and maintain them in a safe and reliable condition

• Stock take and reorder small consumables when required

• Organise core returns

• Work with shutdown supervisor on scheduled shutdowns for retrieval of parts from the Warehouse

The successful candidate must be willing to make grease lines and hydraulic hoses when needed and training will be provided for this.

The Requirements

We are seeking applications from candidates who have a good knowledge of tools and knowledge of heavy tools is an advantage. You must be computer literate with an intermediate level of competency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants must hold valid HR and forklift licenses.
