We have an great opportunity for a candidate with underwriting experience/exposure wanting to commence a successful underwriting career within Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS)

Reporting directly to the Regional Manager - Operations, you will form part of the highly successful AGCS team.

In this role you will be required to

• Review and interpret source underwriting materials, in relation to underwriting criteria - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts / claims experience – and provide feedback to Underwriter.
• Book, invoice, chase and reconcile premiums exploiting underwriting file and system entries.
• Liaise with brokers and/or underwriters, to expedite premium payment
• Issue policy documentation to broker (or client), co-insurers, captives and re-insurers, in a timely and accurate manner.
• Implement and management moderately complex International Insurance Programmes (IIPs) in the Allianz NetworkTake ownership of problems and provide commercially sound solutions
• Provide Underwriters with underwriting support
• Adhere to compliance and audit requirements related to file maintenance and sign off procedure

Your skills

• Exceptional time management and prioritising skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced and ever changing environment
• Strong word and excel skills
• Keen eye for detail
• 3 - 5 years’ experience of policy administration, preferably in an underwriting support function handling the processing of International Insurance Programmes
