The Knight Frank Student Program QLD
The Knight Frank Student Program QLD has been established to support the philosophy of ‘growing our own’ future property professionals. Our aim is to identify the best and brightest students undertaking property degrees in QLD. The program has significant benefits to both the students involved and to Knight Frank.

How the Program works
The Student Program QLD is completed by students in their final year of a Property/Valuations, Commerce/Business, Finance, Law or Engineering degree. Students rotate through 5 divisions of the business working 8 weeks in each:
Working days are 2-3 days per week and can be flexible to accommodate your study requirements. Mentoring and supervision is provided as well as regular two-way feedback opportunities. A daily rate is paid, plus superannuation.

These positions are based in our Brisbane head office in Creek Street.
What you can expect from the Program
The Program runs between February and October/early November each year and is completed during your final year of tertiary study. On a day-to-day basis you may be involved in:
At the conclusion of the program in late October/early November, the performance of each student is reviewed and assessed and students may be offered a permanent position with the Company.

How the Program works

- Asset Management Services i.e. Property Management and Facilities Management
- Commercial Sales
- Valuations
- Office Leasing

- Developing contact lists
- Marketing properties
- Data collection
- Budget preparation in Property Management
- Sales research
- Reading tenant leases
- Title searches in Valuations
- Outgoings reconciliations
- Production of floor plans
- Participating in team meetings
- Maintaining the client/property database
- Preparing property newsletters
- Attending/supporting auctions
- Writing ads
- Measuring from plans and contributing to valuation reports.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A confident and friendly manner
- Outgoing personality
- Professionally presented
- Academic achievement
- High degree of computer literacy, in particular MS Office skills
- Strong aspirations to work in property
- Demonstrated work experience (in a relevant field or otherwise)
- Demonstrated initiative and proactive attitude
- Extracurricular or community activities
- Permanent working rights in Australia
