The Supervisor role is required to supervise and develop team members within the CSIRO HR Service Centre (HRSC) in the customer focused, efficient and effective processing of payroll and HR service requests. The role includes the need to provide subject matter expertise/specialised help and support in the HRSC and advice to other HR functions and CSIRO employees.
Specifically you will:
- Be accountable and responsible for the supervision of payroll and HR service request processing.
- Manage performance management, quality assessment and coaching, development and motivation of team members.
- Ensure staff are available, trained, developed and co-ordinated to deliver customer service in a (full centre and work group) team approach and in an efficient manner.
- Provide subject matter expertise / specialised help and support in SAP processing of payroll and HR service requests.
- Processing and negotiation of ad hoc/complex payroll and HR service requests.
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to provide supervisory level leadership, management and technical expertise in a HR payroll and service centre.
- Detailed experience/knowledge of payroll and HR service processes and associated linkages to HR functions, key stakeholders, CSIRO staff and external obligations.
- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, continual improvement and customer service and the ability to coach and mentor team members
- Detailed experience in SAP and the ability to supervise structured and efficient transactional processing.
- Demonstrated organisational, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills.
