Provide technical expertise to ensure end users have effective and efficient desktop support and assistance in relation to a wide range of computer hardware and software products in line with the organisation’s guidelines and objectives.
Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated high-level understanding of current industry standard hardware, software, telephony and peripheral products.
- Demonstrated high-level technical knowledge and experience of a wide range of personal computer (PC) applications, hardware, physical operating environments, copyright legislation and security issues.
- Sound organisational skills with the capacity to prioritise competing demands.
- Demonstrated experience in providing best practice levels of I.T support in a high volume customer service area and with continuous improvement processes in the provision of customer focused support to I.T users.
- Highly developed negotiation and interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
- Excellent diagnostic skills with good organisational, analytical and problem solving capabilities and the ability to prioritise workloads, accurately define complex problems and devise solutions.
- Demonstrated experience working as an effective team member, together with the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to information sharing and knowledge management.
Salary: | $101,687 pa. Package includes salary ($81,680 pa - $92,150 pa), employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading. |
